Board of Directors Election Results 2026

The Combustion Institute members have voted and selected seven new delegates to join the Board of Directors. We thank all the candidates for making themselves available for this service. The newly elected directors began their six-year term at the end of July 2026 and will continue in this role until the end of the 44th International Symposium on Combustion in 2032.
The elected directors are listed in alphabetical order:

  • Yuji Suzuki, The University of Tokyo, Japan
The election was held from 1 June to 1 July and was overseen by the professional election specialists, YesElections, using a modified single transferrable vote method. Thank you to all members who voted during the election and continue to help with the growth and development of The Combustion Institute.
