Voting for The Combustion Institute Board of Directors election is officially open as of today 1 June 2026.
With 14 distinguished candidates and seven seats to be filled, your participation is crucial in shaping the future leadership of our community. We encourage all members to review the candidate profiles and record their votes.
Check Your Inbox: Active members will receive an email directly from The Combustion Institute Election Admin ("help@yeselections.com") containing a unique ballot.

Voting System: The election will be conducted using a Single Transferable Vote (STV) system. Please note, ranking all 14 candidates will help to maximize the impact of your vote.
Voting Deadline: 23:59 EDT on 1 July 2026.
Results: The election outcome will be publicly announced at the 41st International Symposium on Combustion in Kyoto, Japan (26–31 July 2026).
Elected directors will begin their six-year terms at the conclusion of the 41st Symposium.
