41st ISOC WiPP Submissions 1 Week Reminder
There is ONE week left to submit Work in Progress Posters (WiPP) for the 41st International Symposium on Combustion.
The WiPP submission portal will close on
1 April 2026, 23:59 EDT. Submit proposals
here.
Authors are required to submit a one-page abstract with distinct sections for introduction/background/aims, methods, results, conclusions, and up to one figure.
A full-length paper is not required. A sample abstract can be found here.
WiPP decisions will be sent to authors on a rolling basis, with all decisions communicated by
15 April 2026. Accepted authors will receive instructions about poster formatting and printing after 15 April.
The WiPP sessions provide a forum for presentation and discussion of works in progress. The posters will be displayed in a location conducive to author and attendee interaction. Posters presented in WiPP sessions will not be published in the Proceedings of The Combustion Institute Volume 42. The WiPP sessions are under the direction of the Co-Chairs, Jackson Crane, Queen's University, Canada; Waruna Kulatilaka, Texas A&M University, United States; Huangwei Zhang, National University of Singapore, Singapore
