NEW PROCI Publications in Odd-Years (PROCI-oy)
On the 21st of July 2024, the Board of The Combustion Institute approved the commencement of off-year publications of Proceedings of The Combustion Institute (PROCI-oy) in 2025 (and subsequent odd-years, when the International Symposium on Combustion is not held). The papers will initially originate from selected submissions presented at one of these four regional conferences:
- Asia-Pacific conferences on combustion (ASPACC),
- Mediterranean combustion conferences (MCS),
- U.S. National combustion meetings (USNCM),
- European combustion meetings (ECM).
In 2025, four PROCI-oy issues are planned for publication, one issue per conference. Guest Editors will be appointed by the conference organizers for each issue and approved by The Combustion Institute. Each team will also be assisted by one PROCI Editor.
Papers selected for consideration for publication in PROCI-oy would be of similar quality to those submitted to previous PROCI volumes and would be subjected to a rigorous editorial process. Interested authors are advised to study the submission guidelines for each of the conferences listed above.
