MEMBERSHIP

The Combustion Institute is open to anyone with interest in research into combustion phenomena. Current members of the Institute include physical chemists, fuel technologists, fluid dynamicists, combustion engine designers, fire scientists, environmental scientists, mechanical and aerospace engineers, detonation specialists, fire fighters, and others.

The following are some of the benefits of membership in the Combustion Institute:

  • Substantial discounts on all the functions and symposium volumes.
  • Individual subscription to the Combustion and Flame journal at a special rate of USD63.00 or EUR54.00 or JPY7,140.00 per year for 2008 issues. (Institutional price of the journal is well over $1200 per annum.)  Members need to obtain an order form from The Combustion Institute.

New members are asked to join a National or Regional Section using the contact information for individual Sections.  If no National or Regional Section exists in your country of residence, you may become a member-a-large of The Combustion Institute by using the US membership application.
